I used to be a Sunday regular, but haven’t been to Perkins in a little over year because I moved back to South Philly. My two sons and I were craving it so we decided to head over. We were immediately greeted with smiles and hugs from Kim, the General Manager, Charles (Ya), and our favorite server, Sam. We chatted like we never missed a beat. We even had the pleasure of catching up with Brandon, the Regional Manager. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious. I had the BYO breakfast, my eggs were perfect; my oldest son had the ham and cheddar cheese omelette and my youngest had the Rainbow Pancakes. I’d like to add that my youngest son has albinism. With that, he has photophobia. They want out of their way to make sure we were sat in our favorite part of the restaurant, but also made sure that glare form the sun didn’t effect him. If you want a great personable experience, good food and a clean place to have it, this is your spot. I always stand by this place and will recommend it to any local! You may even get the chance build some great relationships with the staff, who all have worked with this establishment for years. PS: Don’t forget to ask about their rewards programs, they have a coupon for almost anyday!!

Perkins is a place that you can go to on the regular. It's perfect for when your alone or with family. The food is good in an average way. You will find your go to meal and kind of stick to it. They have a bakery and lots of seating. Bathrooms are clean each time I went. Mornings to early afternoon are best times. They have daily meal deals and monthly 20off coupon if you sign up. Affordable spot. Cleaner than most ihops and diners i been too. Side note: they should definitely switch to a different flooring. I get the noise reduction and cozy vibes. But rugs are disgusting in areas that have alot of foot traffic. Not a big deal but just a thought.

My burger was slightly pink in some spots and I couldn't finish it, but my boyfriend could, so it worked out, I guess. He enjoyed his meatloaf tremendously. We shared the lemon merengue pie.

I visited this busy spot recently and had a great experience overall. Our server was very friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. I tried the holiday BBQ ribs, which were incredibly tender, though a bit on the salty side for my taste. The mac and cheese was a little dry, and the turkey sausage could have been juicier, but the omelette was great! They have an amazing dessert menu that I couldn’t try this time, but I’ll definitely be back to give it a go. Looking forward to my next visit!
